SteadyTouch is provided by KCB Strategic Solutions, LLC ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to these terms.
License
SteadyTouch is licensed, not sold, to you. Your use is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies in addition to these terms. Where the two conflict on a point Apple's agreement covers, Apple's agreement controls.
Intended use
SteadyTouch supports communication and learning. It is not a diagnostic tool, a medical device, or a replacement for individualized professional care. Nothing in the app is medical, clinical, therapeutic, or educational advice for a specific individual. Decisions about a learner's communication system, curriculum, or care should be made with qualified professionals.
AI-generated lessons
Lessons in Stories & Learning are generated by an AI model at the time you request them. We apply content rules, validation, and safety filtering, and we act on every report we receive. Even so, AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable, and we cannot guarantee that every generated lesson will be correct or appropriate for every learner.
Lessons are intended to be used with caregiver or educator involvement. Please review generated content and use the in-app Report this lesson control, or write to [email protected], whenever something is wrong. See Report Content.
Acceptable use
Interest Lab accepts free text and is intended to be used by an adult. Do not use it to attempt to generate content that is sexual, violent, hateful, harassing, illegal, or otherwise unsuitable for a child, and do not attempt to circumvent the app's content safeguards. Do not enter personal information about a child or anyone else.
Your content
Custom tiles, labels, and photos you create stay on your device. We do not claim any ownership of them, and we do not have access to them.
Availability
Communication features work offline. Fresh lessons require an internet connection and depend on third-party AI services, so they may be temporarily unavailable, rate-limited, or changed. We may modify or discontinue features as the app develops.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SteadyTouch is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KCB Strategic Solutions, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the app.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain liabilities, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app changes. The published version always shows its effective date.
